David Winter
Chief Executive Officer
As Chief Executive Officer of Standard Industries, David Winter oversees Standard’s operating businesses and the company’s long-term growth initiatives and development efforts. He is also Co-Chief Investment Officer of Standard Investments.David is deeply involved in numerous civic and charitable endeavors, including serving on the Board of Trustees of the Metropolitan Museum of Art and Carnegie Hall, as well as on the Board of Directors of Conservation International. He is also a Trustee of the New York City Police Foundation and a member of the Board of Directors of the Partnership for New York City.
Shavit Bar-Nahum
Head of Talent Strategy and Development
Shavit Bar-Nahum serves as Head of Talent Strategy and Development at Standard Industries, working closely with Standard’s operating companies to build enterprise-wide talent systems that strengthen leadership pipelines and drive strategic and financial objectives. Before joining Standard, Shavit served as Global Head of Talent Strategy and Employee Experience at Moody’s Corporation and held several Leadership Development Executive roles during her 13 years at Bank of America Corporation. Prior to that, Shavit was a Senior Consultant at PDI. Shavit holds a BA from Rhodes College in Religious Studies and Philosophy and an MA in Organizational Psychology from Columbia University.
Gregory Brunner
Chief Accounting Officer
Gregory Brunner serves as the Chief Accounting Officer at Standard Industries, overseeing accounting operations across all of Standard’s businesses. Before joining Standard, Gregory served as the Chief Accounting Officer and Controller at Sphere Entertainment and prior to that, he served as an Audit Partner and held leadership positions at KPMG LLP. Gregory is an active Certified Public Accountant and earned a bachelor of science degree from West Chester University of Pennsylvania.
Alexandra Burban
Head of Corporate Development and M&A
Alexandra Burban serves as Head of Corporate Development and Mergers & Acquisitions at Standard Industries, overseeing all mergers and acquisitions activity and corporate development across all of Standard's businesses. Alexandra joined Standard from Evercore, where she was a Senior Managing Director, most recently serving as the Head of Asia Cross-Border Advisory globally. Previously, she held leadership positions in Investment Banking and Investment Management at Lehman Brothers and earned a BBA and BA at The University of Texas at Austin.
Valentina Cassata
General Counsel, Standard Investments
Senior Vice President, Lead Counsel M&A and Corporate
Valentina Cassata is responsible for overseeing all legal matters at Standard Investments, including navigating regulatory frameworks and overseeing fund formation and investment transactions. In her capacity as lead M&A and Corporate Counsel, she also leads all aspects of transformational transactions, complex M&A, joint ventures and financing transactions across Standard Industries’ diversified portfolio of domestic and international operating companies. Prior to joining Standard, Valentina worked for American Express, where she served as Vice President, Senior M&A Counsel and Lead Counsel for Ventures. Previously, she was with leading international law firms Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz and Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton.

Arlene Dick oversees all aspects of the tax department at Standard Industries. Prior to joining Standard, Arlene was a member of the GE tax organization where she held leadership positions across various GE businesses.

Chief Counsel, Litigation & Regulatory
As Chief Compliance Officer, Rachel Engelstein is responsible for Standard's Global Compliance organization, as well as its Global Internal Audit function. She also oversees litigation for Standard's operating companies and supervises various legal subject matter experts including environmental, regulatory, intellectual property and data protection. She also helps lead the Company's Enterprise Risk Management activities. Rachel has been with the Standard Industries family of companies since 2012, serving in a variety of senior legal roles. Prior to joining Standard, she worked in private practice at a New York City law firm.

As Chief Financial Officer of Standard Industries, Mark Fedorcik manages all financial activities across Standard’s businesses. Before joining Standard, Mark was with Deutsche Bank for 30 years, most recently serving as Co-Head of the Global Investment Bank and a member of the Group Management Committee. Prior to that, he served in a number of other leadership roles at the bank, including Co-President of the Corporate & Investment Bank and Head of Corporate Finance. He graduated from Hamilton College and currently serves on its Board of Trustees.

Chief Tax Counsel
As Chief Tax Counsel of Standard Industries since 2008, Lou Feldman oversees tax structuring and tax risk management for all of Standard’s businesses. He also works closely with the Head of Tax to ensure that Standard maintains compliance with all tax laws and regulations applicable in the many jurisdictions in which the company operates. Before joining Standard, Lou was a Managing Director with Barclays Capital’s Structured Capital Markets group. Prior to that, he was a Managing Director in Credit Suisse’s North American Structuring group. A 1992 graduate of Penn Carey Law School, Lou began his legal career as a tax associate with Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz, following his clerkship with Justice Antonin Scalia during the Supreme Court’s October Term 1993.

Stephen Fisch serves as Portfolio Manager for Standard Investments, and previously served as Sector Head of Industrials. Prior to joining Standard Investments, Stephen was Director of Research North America at Atlantic Investment Management, an equity investment firm based in New York. Prior to his time at Atlantic, Stephen was an Industrials Portfolio Manager at Sigma Capital in New York and HBK in Dallas. Stephen started his career at Goldman Sachs in Leveraged Finance Investment Banking & FICC. He graduated from Columbia Business School with a Master of Business Administration and from Duke University with a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Biology.

Sean Fletcher oversees the trading desk at Standard Investments. Prior to joining Standard Investments, Sean worked for TPG-Axon, first as Head Trader for Axon Financial and then as Head Trader for TPG-Axon Capital, where he ran the US trading desk. Previously, Sean worked at Regents Park Capital in London and Arbor Research & Trading in both Chicago and London. Sean started his career in fixed trading (MBS/ABS) for McDonald Investments/Keybanc Capital Markets. He has a BA in Economics from Yale University and a Master of Science in Finance from London Business School.

John Gianukakis serves as Treasurer at Standard Industries, overseeing financing, investor relations, and insurance activity across all of Standard's businesses. John joined Standard from Frontier Communications, where he was Senior Vice President and Treasurer. Previously, he held leadership positions in finance at IBM. He earned a BS from Lehigh University and an MBA from the University of Connecticut.

Erika Greenbaum serves as Senior Vice President at Standard Management Services. In this role, Erika acts as a trusted advisor, overseeing a diverse portfolio of strategic initiatives that support the principals of Standard Industries and their related entities. Erika joined Standard from Goldman Sachs, where she was a Vice President in the Investment Management Division and served as the Chief of Staff for the Finance People Development Committee.

Gregory Heyman serves as Head of Strategic Initiatives at Standard Industries. Before joining Standard, Gregory founded Beehouse and was a partner at investment funds Marble Arch and Miura Global. He currently serves as chairman of Oscar Heyman & Brothers and is on the board of Tiger Foundation. Gregory graduated from Yale Law School and Dartmouth College and was a Fulbright Scholar.

Amanda Jacobowitz is Chief of Staff. Prior to Standard, she spent nearly a decade in public affairs and crisis communications at Finsbury, Joele Frank and Powell. Amanda’s depth of experience includes working on top M&A transactions and providing strategic counsel to a global base of clients. She graduated with honors from Washington University in St. Louis.

Jill Kary is responsible for the communications and public relations strategy for Standard and its operating companies, serving as an advisor and thought partner to executive leadership and heads of internal and external communications across the businesses. Prior to joining Standard, she was a member of Blackstone's Public Affairs team and previously advised public and private clients on a range of strategic communications matters while at Joele Frank. She graduated from Cornell University.

Mike Kiik is the Head of Manufacturing Technology for Standard Industries, overseeing manufacturing technology across Standard’s businesses. Prior to Standard, he served as Chief Technology Officer at GAF. Mike joined the building materials industry in 1967 at the Ruberoid Company and later worked at Elk Corporation, both of which were acquired by GAF. He graduated from the University of Maryland with a BS in Mechanical Engineering, holds more than 50 patents, and has chaired numerous industry technical committees.

Julia Klein is Chief Operating Officer and Controller of Standard Investments. In this role, she is involved with all aspects of the day-to-day operations of Standard Investments and oversees accounting, reporting, and valuation for all investment entities. Before joining Standard, Julia oversaw the Asset Management Hedge Fund Controller group at Goldman Sachs after starting her career at State Street Bank and Trust in Boston, MA. She earned a Masters in Business Administration from NYU Stern School of Business and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Hofstra University.

Peter Marturano is the Portfolio Manager responsible for idea generation and due diligence with regard to technology portfolio positions at Standard. Prior to joining Standard, Peter was a Managing Director at Fox Point Capital and Karsch Capital. Previously, he was an Associate at TA Associates and an Analyst in the Investment Banking Division of Credit Suisse First Boston. Peter earned an MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business where he was an Arjay Miller Scholar, and he holds an AB from Harvard College.

David Millstone serves as Vice Chairman of Standard Industries and spent 15 years as its co-CEO. He is also Co-Chief Investment Officer of Standard Investments.David began his career in investment banking at Bear Stearns and later worked at Apollo. He graduated from Yale College and is a former member of the Yale University Council. He also received a JD from Harvard Law School, where he is a member of the Advisory Board for the Program on Corporate Governance.

Scott Milsom leads the development and construction team, overseeing the planning, design and construction of all Standard projects. Prior to joining Standard, Scott led the re-development of Industry City in Sunset Park Brooklyn. Previously, Scott was Vice President of Development at Vornado Realty Trust, where he worked on projects including 220 Central Park South and the rezoning of the Hotel Pennsylvania site. He has a Mechanical Engineering Degree from the University of Delaware and a Masters Degree in Real Estate Development from Columbia University.

Dick Nowak oversees all operations at Standard and its operating companies, serves on Standard’s Executive Committee, and advises the firm on all matters related to the operating companies and future M&A activities. Prior to this, Dick served as GAF’s Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, where he was responsible for many of the operational innovations that have defined the roofing industry. Dick also served as President and CEO of Elk Corporation and Elk Building Products.

As Head of Tax for Standard Management Services, David Orticelli is responsible for tax planning and reporting for all tax activity. Prior to joining Standard, David was the Tax Director at General Atlantic where his responsibilities included the global tax management for portfolio companies and investor reporting. David is a graduate of Fairfield University and both the Quinnipiac and Boston University School of Law.

Ashish has a Master of Science in Management from the New Jersey Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Business Logistics from Penn State University, and he completed the Executive Education program in Strategic Leadership at the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth.

He oversees a legal team of subject matter experts who sit in offices around the world.

Prior to the White House, Josh was Head of Communications and Marketing at Blumhouse Productions and began his career advising a range of clients at Freud Communications and Hiltzik Strategies.

Morgan, and Manager and Lead Controller for Morgan Stanley in the Real Estate Fund Group. She started her career in the Financial Services Audit and Business Advisory Group at Andersen Worldwide.

Ben earned a Master of Engineering Management and a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering from Dartmouth College.

He began his career at U.S. Cyber Command and has held numerous leadership roles at high-growth startups. Dave earned his bachelor's degree from Johns Hopkins University and his Master's degree from Georgetown University's School of Foreign Service. He serves on the Board of Trustees of Delbarton School in Morristown, NJ.

Howard Zauderer is responsible for overseeing all compliance matters at Standard Investments and all legal matters at Standard Management Services. Prior to joining Standard Investments, Howard was the General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer at Longacre Fund Management. Prior to Longacre, he was the General Counsel of Olympus America. After graduating from law school, Howard began his career as a Corporate Associate at both Dewey Ballantine and Morgan, Lewis and Bockius. Howard earned a BA in Economics from Yeshiva University and a JD from Columbia University School of Law.
