Training a New
Generation of Roofers

The GAF Roofing Academy is a tuition-free training program that enables prospective workers to build the necessary skills to begin a career in commercial and residential roofing. Since its launch, the national program has helped to expand the roofing sector by opening doors for women, transitioning veterans, citizens re-entering the workforce, and youth from under-resourced communities. To date, more than 5,000 GAF Roofing Academy students have been trained and more than 2,850 graduates have been placed in roofing jobs.

Giving Back to Our Communities

Standard and our operating companies support the communities globally where we live and work through philanthropic donations, strategic partnerships, and volunteer time. Our focus is primarily on organizations in the workforce development, education, disaster relief and rebuilding, and combating food insecurity spaces. Collectively, Standard and its operating companies support approximately 500 nonprofit organizations each year.
In 2025, employees from Standard and its operating companies dedicated more than 9,000 volunteer hours to nearly 300 organizations as part of Standard's inaugural Summer of Service.Standard is also proud to support Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center’s lifesaving research through its annual sponsorship of and active participation in Cycle for Survival.
