WSJ: How Reflective Paint Brings Down Scorching City Temperatures
The Wall Street Journal highlights some of the innovative ways that cities across the U.S. are using technology to tackle the issue of urban heat, including the use of a reflective pavement coating from GAF. One year after applying 700K square feet of coatings in the L.A. neighborhood of Pacoima, surface temperatures have dropped an average of 10ºF on extreme heat days, improving livability and creating more opportunities for connection and play as part of the GAF Cool Community Project.
